The Knox has the largest capacity of all our wallets. It's great for traveling with larger amounts of cash or for housing extra cards that you don't want to carry all the time. Take the Knox with you on a jog or to the gym—it's great for stowing a couple cards and a small set of keys. Although the Knox is simple in design, it was our first wallet with a zipper—making the design process especially long—and making us even more proud of the end result.
We named the Knox after the college that Whitcomb L. Judson attended. Judson was a 19th-century inventor who had 30 patents for a series of inventions that were considered impractical and unsuccessful. But in 1890, his persistence paid off when he invented the chain-lock fastener — now known as the zipper. The Knox wallet was our first wallet with a zipper, but more importantly, it recognizes Judson as someone who kept going when things got tough. Building a business making goods by hand is difficult and impractical. When things get hard, I find motivation in people like Whitcomb Judson and others who fell down and got back up.
